Gender Diversity: One of the “Big Four”

The Challenge – very few females applying to advisory graduate scheme

Our client, one of the Big 4, discovered that very few females had applied to one of their graduate pathways, and even fewer had received offers, leaving a huge gender imbalance. It needed rapid remedial action as the grad scheme was due to commence in 4 weeks.

The Solution – activate our large network of female headhunters

We rapidly identified those of our headhunters who were female or who had strong female networks, and briefed them on the company and scheme. We informed them they only had a matter of days to find as many interested people as possible.

The Result – 9 hires made in 9 working days

We found 100s of applications in a matter of days, the best of which we uploaded to the client’s system. Offers were out within days, with the start date often the week after the offer was accepted. We redressed the gender imbalance in the tightest of timescales. We now work on many varied projects for this client, including attracting to trickier locations and helping with the harder to fill schemes.
